After 7 months of my world journey, I found myself in a monastery in Northern Thailand. I spent 7 days there, dedicating a total of 5 hours each day to meditation. During this time, I made the decision to completely set aside my phone, which led to the most amazing conversations with the people in the monastery. One day, I discussed with some of them the significance of personal willpower, or rather, mindset, for personal development and life. After one of our countless meditation sessions, a picture emerged, inspired by our conversation on mindset:
Written in Thai on the picture is: “Your mindset controls your life.” This image became the fundamental inspiration for “THE WORLD IN YOUR HAND,” which you now hold in your hands. Throughout my journey, I had purchased a bracelet as a memento from every country I visited. For months, I had contemplated what to do with these bracelets after my travels. They held great meaning to me, but I also noticed that most of them were slowly wearing out. A solution was needed. The result of my long search for a unique solution can now be admired.
However, it wasn’t until I resumed traveling that I received incredibly positive feedback from enthusiastic individuals. They saw in my product the opportunity to stylishly document and share their own travel experiences. I had created not just a simple globe, but an embodiment of my personal travel adventures and the infinite possibilities this world has to offer.
